Getting Ready for Success in a Competitive Market
The General Services Administration (GSA) awards over $10 billion dollars annually (FY 2005 sales approximately $11.1 billion) for goods and services under the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Program to thousands of commercial firms each year.
MAS contracts are divided into 43 distinct GSA Schedules and are designed to enable Federal Agencies to purchase commercial products and services quickly, efficiently, and at fair and reasonable
prices.  In total, there are currently over 18,700 MAS contracts in place, covering over 11,000,000 items, so competition is fierce.
To compete in this market, ClearCoast sets the stage early in the process through the following initiatives:
Determine whether a GSA contract is a good business decision for your company
•  Conduct advance discussions with you to consider the basic requirements needed to qualify
•  Identify the most appropriate GSA Schedule for your products and/or services
•  Review the required commitment and contractual obligations - the ‘rules of the road’ so to say as a GSA Schedule contract holder
•  Discuss the ClearCoast project life cycle for the preparation, submission, and negotiation of an offer leading to a contract award
•  Work hand-in-hand to ensure you are educated, informed and committed to this process
Setting expectations early in the process is critical.  ClearCoast takes all our obligations seriously and we are committed to the highest standards of excellence as we work to meet your expectations in qualifying you for a GSA Schedule contract.
